Seachtain na Gaeilge Kicks Off With a Céilí

Our Seachtain na Gaeilge celebrations kicked off in style with an energetic céilí for some of our students! We were thrilled to welcome back Nora Carroll, who encouraged everyone to slip on their dancing shoes and get into the rhythm of Irish dancing. Students spent an hour learning and perfecting a variety of group dances, combining fun with a healthy dose of culture and education. A huge thanks to our Irish department for putting their best foot forward with Ms. Staunton, Ms. Buckley, and Ms. Comerford all joining in on the fun.

Special congratulations to our top dancers! TY students Laoise Harding and Jack Hyland were our best senior dancers, while Will Murray and Leah Hogan were awarded most impressive junior dancers in 1st year.

It’s fantastic to see our students embracing all things Irish, and we’re excited to see even more participation throughout the week. Stay tuned for more fun and educational events organised by our wonderful Irish department during Seachtain na Gaeilge
