5th year Ag Science Trip on Monday 1st September

5th Year Ag Science Trip

As you know last year, we piloted the new TY “Intro to Ag” programme in Clonaslee College. Several projects from our school were submitted as part of our school’s involvement with two getting through to the final. At the finals day in Tullamore last May Jack Kelly, Jack Hyland, Conor O’Shea and Lennon Conroy were announced as the overall winners of the competition for their project “Issues in Agriculture”.As a result of this they won a trip for their full class. Given that the finals day was so late in May we didn’t have any day available to go on the trip in TY. Agri Aware had offered places for last year’s TY class only but I have managed to secure a place for all current 5th years (including those coming directly from 3rd year). This will allow all 5thyearstudents to bond and get to know each other a little better on the day.
