Dr Compost Craig Benton from Composting Ireland visited our school last week to speak with our Transition Year, 1st Year and 2nd Year students.
Craig delivered a very engaging and informative workshop, encouraging students to think about food waste and the small changes we can make in our daily lives to reduce it.
As a result of the workshop, we are now taking the next step by setting up a Green Team, with students already signing up to get involved.
Craig’s enthusiasm was infectious, some students were even up dancing and joining in the fun during the session!
A big thank you to Craig for visiting and sharing his knowledge, and to Ms Gallagher for organising the event.
