Second update from Vichy ????????
Our students enjoyed a fantastic guided tour around the city, led by Mr Dooley, who was truly in his element sharing insights into Vichy’s history during WWII.
They visited the old thermal spas and even got the chance to taste water from the natural thermal springs. The group also explored the beautiful opera house and the oldest shopping centre in Vichy, where they learned about its rich history and how it has remained in the same family for generations.
Afterwards, they relaxed in the park with some lunch before taking part in a city-wide scavenger hunt based on what they had learned during the tour. Huge congratulations to Elizabeth, Evie, and their correspondents, who won sweets and souvenirs!
The day finished back at the school with some foosball and football. So far, everyone is having a brilliant time. More updates coming tomorrow!
