Work Experience Spotlight!

We’re continuing our Work Experience Spotlight by highlighting more TY students and the brilliant local workplaces supporting them.
Ryan is developing practical hands-on skills and enjoying working with a local tiler, John McLoughlin Tiling. Ashleen is gaining experience in a local hotel, the Maldron in Portlaoise, in their busy restaurant. This is a fantastic opportunity for her as she considers a future in Hotel Management! Both Emma and Jess are considering a future in healthcare, completing work experience in the Radiology Department of Tullamore Hospital. And finally, Niamh is kept very busy in Naomh Áine Pre-School, working in early childhood education.
We’re very grateful to every local business that welcomes our students and gives them a real taste of working life. These placements would not be possible without these  local organisations and people sharing their time, skills, and expertise to support our students.
