Our Christmas Quiz was a brilliant day on Friday, full of fun and laughter just before the holidays began! This quiz has become a very special Clonaslee tradition, one that students and staff look forward to every year.
We are extremely grateful to our Student Council, along with Ms Murphy, who once again put huge effort into organising another fantastic event. It’s always lovely to have such a fun, whole-school day to finish out the term!
As ever, the famous Clonaslee Round proved decisive and separated the men from the boys when it came to determining the overall winners. And of course, no Christmas Quiz would be complete without a few singers. Mr Lee ensured nobody escaped, and by now most of us know there’s little point in protesting… it’s far easier to just sing along
A special mention to our 6th Years, many of whom got well and truly “encouraged” by Mr Lee to get involved, making the most of their final Christmas Quiz with us.
If anyone did not collect their prize on the day, please see Ms Murphy, who has prizes kindly supported by three brilliant local businesses Flynns, Hogans and Mahers! Many thanks to all for their continued support.
And finally, for any current student or teacher reading this — here’s your annual reminder to actually count the pillars in the courtyard… because somehow, we never do!
