Lyon Day 1

Our exchange students began the day by saying goodbye to Vichy and the new friends they made there. They are already excited to be reunited with their correspondents when they visit Ireland!

The journey to Lyon involved bus, train, and tram, giving students a real experience of navigating metro links (with a little help from Mr. Dooley’s built-in Google Maps ).

Once in Lyon, students took part in an outdoor scavenger hunt around Hôtel-Dieu, followed by time exploring the city. The day finished with a well-earned meal at Comptoir 41, where everyone relaxed and enjoyed watching Ireland v Czechia together
