The Clonaslee St. Patrick’s Day Parade returned this year for its fifth year running. Our Transition Year students took part with a float inspired by a hot topic of conversation — rising fuel costs. There was great fun in the lead-up to the parade, planning and designing the float, as well as getting involved on the day itself.
The event was very well organised, thanks to the hard work and dedication of the parade committee. Our students were especially thrilled to be awarded the prize for Best School! Thank you to all the members of our local community, along with parents and family members, who supported our TY students in bringing their idea to life by kindly allowing us to use their equipment and resources.
