Raising Awareness: Breast Cancer Education Workshop

Our senior students and staff were visited today by Carol Scott, Outreach Co-ordinator with Breast Check Ireland. The talks aimed to educate everyone on the early warning signs of breast cancer and how to perform self-checks. We encourage all students who attended to have a chat at home about what they learned today.

Carol also recommended that everyone download the free Breast Cancer Ireland app, Breast Aware.

A huge thanks to Ms. Gallagher for organising this important initiative in our school. These workshops are generously provided free of charge through the TUI and Cornmarket.
