Well done to our TY student Ollie for the part he played in supporting Self Help Africa through the Offaly Camino Canal Walk Way.
He helped with the planning and organisation of the event, promoted it in school, and encouraged others to get involved. On the day, he was on hand to help with setup, support walkers, and assist wherever needed.
Ollie’s contribution played an important part in making the event a success. We were delighted to receive such a strong letter of recommendation from Ronan Scully, highlighting his efforts. It’s great to see the benefits of these efforts reaching communities out in Malawi. It’s a brilliant example of community involvement outside of school.
