Senior Girls Put in Determined Display

Our Senior LGFA team represented Clonaslee College today in a competitive game against St. Paul’s Monasterevin. The girls had a strong opening 10–15 minutes, but Monasterevin dominated the remainder of the first half.

After a spirited team talk from Ms. Staunton at half time, the girls regrouped and put in a brilliant shift in the second half. It was a real team effort, with everyone working hard for each other. They chipped away at the score difference, but in the end, the task proved just a bit too big to overcome.

Thanks to St. Paul’s Monasterevin for the game. Our Senior Girls will have another day out after the midterm break.
