Work Experience Spotlight

During our recent Open Day, we got to see our TYs shine, they were leading tours, running activities, playing games with visiting students, and supporting teachers all around the school. All in all, they were super ambassadors for Clonaslee College. So, for this week’s Work Experience Spotlight, we’re highlighting some of our TYs who are currently gaining experience in education settings.
Rebecca and Mary Kate are completing their placements in Rosenallis National School and both are pictured here with Principal Mr Walsh. Loren is working in Scoil Bhríde here in Clonaslee, where she even met a past pupil of ours- Ms Baker! Niamh is pictured with one of the brilliant SNAs, Noreen, in Castlecuffe NS, where she has been getting a real sense of primary school life.
A huge thank you to all the local schools who have welcomed our TY students. These work placements give our students great experience, and the ability to explore possible career paths. We may have a few future teachers in our midst!
Stay tuned for more Work Experience Spotlights over the coming weeks.
