“The BOM wish to advise 3rd year students and parents that a whole school approach to the end of year assessment has been devised, in consultation with all staff, in the best interest of our students. It has been agreed one of the appropriate methods of assessment will be an online end of year summer assessment. This summer assessment will be awarded a maximum of 30% depending on each subject department. The subject teachers of Clonaslee college will use a range of evidence to inform their overall assessment of student’s achievements available from; Assignments, house exams, class tests/participation, mock results, presentations, tasks, journals, projects, e-portfolios, practical work completed, CBA’s over the course of second and third year. Subject teachers will be in contact with their students regarding the content to be covered for the summer assessment. The summer exam/assessment calendar has been published on the school website”.
