As part of ETB week, a number of bursaries will be awarded by a panel of experts to current ETB learners to support their future study, entrepreneurship or community activism. The Bursary will include €5,000+ and professional support. Shortlisted learners must be available to attend national event in Thomond Park on 14th March.
Categories of bursary:
- Green Innovation (sponsored by SOLAS)
- Technology and AI (sponsored by Wriggle Learning)
- Media & Communications ( sponsored by Hopkins Communications)
- An Gaeilge (sponsored by COGG)
Who can apply?
- a current student at an ETB school/college/Centre of Further Education
- a student who is 16 years or older (Under 18's will need parental consent to apply
Application Process:
- Application form is available on the ETBI website
- Provide details (in 500 words or less) of:
- Background (education, work experience, life path to date)
- Relevant projects, extra-curricular activities or work related to the selected bursary and evidence of commitment
- Summary of any innovative elements of their work or study
- Future vision for future and how the bursary will contribute to their future goals/plans for further study
- Each applicant must provide 2 referees, one of whom must be their School Principal/Centre Manager
