Student Voice
Clonaslee College values the voice of the students. Members of the student council recently attended training provided by the LOETB in Tullamore. They are busy organising a range of events for Christmas. They are planning a fun quiz for the last day before the students break for a well earned rest at Christmas. Also they are planning a wellbeing event where all students will receive a candy cane with a positive note about them the morning of the holidays by the members of the student council. The staff is committed to maintaining a caring atmosphere and a culture where students wellbeing is positively supported. A head boy and head girl was elected by the 6th year student body. David Mc Cane and Roisin O’ Donovan were successfully elected. They will now be responsible for many duties including meeting and greeting external guests, liaising with senior management and speaking at public events.
