FIRST Lego League Regional Finals!

A group of our 1st Year students had a brilliant day at the FIRST LEGO League Regional Competition in the LOETB Midlands Skills Centre, Tullamore 

Our students showcased the coding, teamwork and problem-solving skills they’ve been developing through their involvement in the LEGO League Programme in our school. It wasn’t our day to advance to the next stage of the competition, but we are so impressed by the participation medals our students received!

Thank you to Ms Buckley for working alongside our eager LEGO crew and accompanying them today.  And a huge thank you to Laois and Offaly ETB and Laois County Council and Offaly County Council who have worked together to make the LOETB STEAM programme possible. Our students are really enjoying every aspect!
