Taking Clonaslee College on the Road!

We were delighted to be out and about today visiting some of our local feeder schools and sharing the good news about our Open Night, taking place next Wednesday, 23rd September!
First up was Scoil Bhríde in Clonaslee, where past pupils Will, Rosie and Niamh joined Mr Madden and Ms Fitzpatrick to invite the sixth class students along. They were delighted to meet a familiar face too, with past Clonaslee College pupil Ms Baker now teaching in the school!
Next, Mr Todd and Ms Dunne visited Rosenallis NS with past pupils Charlie, Aislinn and Bobbee, who answered questions and shared their experiences of life in Clonaslee College.
At Killeigh NS, Emma, Charlie and Áine accompanied Mr Cotter and Ms Fitzpatrick to meet the students and tell them all about our small, close-knit school community.
Our final stop was Derrylamogue NS, where Ms Doyle was delighted to see past pupils Bronagh and Éabha back for a visit. If you zoom in, you might even spot their class photos from when they started in Junior Infants!
We are so proud of all the students who joined us today. They spoke confidently about their experiences and helped reassure incoming sixth class students about taking the next big step to secondary school.
A big thank you to all the schools and teachers who welcomed us today. We really appreciate the time they took to chat with us. If we haven’t reached your primary school yet, don’t worry as Mr Cotter will be continuing his visits over the coming days.
