A huge congratulations to all our students who participated in this year’s Laois and Offaly Education and Training Board Junior Maths Competition, held last week in the Midlands Park Hotel. The event was perfectly timed to coincide with our in school celebrations for Maths Week!
A very special congratulations to our fantastic team of Amy, Charlie, Oona and Katie, who overcame some very stiff competition to secure their place in the Inter-ETB Challenge this November, where they will proudly represent LOETB!
Our qualifying team are pictured with Maths teacher Ms. Paula Fennelly and Chief Executive of LOETB, Mr. Joe Cunningham.
The LOETB Junior Maths Competition is a fantastic educational initiative that brings together students from schools across Laois and Offaly ETB, providing opportunities to develop mathematical skills, teamwork and problem-solving abilities in a fun, but challenging environment. It is just one of the many exciting competitions and educational opportunities offered by @laoisandoffalyetb that our students at Clonaslee College are fortunate to benefit from.
A sincere thank you to Ms. Fennelly for all her hard work in preparing our teams for the competition. Best of luck to Amy, Charlie, Oona and Katie in the next stage of the competition. We are very proud of your achievement! 👏🏻👏🏻
