Huge thanks to the Garda Community Unit who called in today to speak with students across both the junior and senior ends of the school. The Gardaí delivered engaging and hard-hitting presentations on the devastating impact of violence and the dangerous side of social media.
Students heard real-life stories from victims and families affected by assaults which really left an impression on them. They also learned practical ways to stay safe and protect themselves online.
We’re very grateful to our local Gardaí for giving their time each year to return and educate our students. A big thank you as well to Mr. Lee for organising the visit.
