Meet our Cairde!

Our Cairde mentors play a huge role in welcoming First Years to Clonaslee College. Each year, a dedicated team of Transition Year students are specially chosen for this role. This year’s Cairde mentors are Michelle Breen, Grace Kelly, Jamie Doyle, Cadhla Barrett, Mary-Kate Cuddy, Aiden Fitzpatrick, Niamh Coughlan and Dylan Johnson.

From the very first day of school, they have worked closely with our Junior Year Head to support new students and organise events that make the transition to secondary school easier. They have been a friendly point of contact, helping students settle in, answering questions and running fun activities to build teamwork and friendships.

If you’d like to learn more about the exclusive supports we provide for First Years, please join us at our Open Night on Thursday, October 2nd to see how Cairde and other programmes make Clonaslee College such a welcoming place!
