TY Students Gaining Valuable Experience Thanks to Local Businesses

We want to take a moment to thank some of our fantastic local businesses who have kindly taken on our TY students for work experience.

Áine is working in Rose Final Total Health Pharmacy in Tullamore, Sorcha is gaining experience with Nakid by Sharon Leavy, Jamie is learning the ropes in MW Hire Group and Cadhla is thriving working with the Mulhare Group. Each of them is getting invaluable insights into the reality of working life. They are learning new skills, meeting customers, and discovering what their future careers might hold.

We’re hugely grateful to these local businesses for taking the time to train and encourage our students. Without their support, opportunities like this wouldn’t be possible. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing more about where the rest of our TYs are working, so stay tuned to see the range of experiences they’re having across our community!

We hate to mention the “C” word, but with Christmas fast approaching, it’s the perfect time to think local and support the brilliant businesses who support our students!
