Another Weekly Work Experience Spotlight!

We’re continuing our Work Experience Spotlight by highlighting more TY students and the fantastic local workplaces supporting them.

Ethan is gaining great on-site electrical experience with Brian Flanagan from BF Electrical. Ollie is getting an insight into the world of hospitality during his placement the Tullamore Court Hotel. Sheola is gaining valuable experience in Telfords Portlaoise, learning how a busy hardware store operates. Charlene is completing her work experience in St. Vincent’s Nursing Home, Mountmellick, and is really enjoying the practical, hands-on nature of the role. Joseph is learning all about mechanics while working with Lee in Hollywood Garage in Birr. And Dylan is spending his placement in Sliabh Bloom Stud, getting a unique perspective on working with horses.

We’re very grateful to every local business and organisation that continues to welcome our TY students and share their knowledge and skills. As we get closer to Christmas, it’s a great reminder of the importance of supporting the local businesses who support our school community all year round.
