Our first and second year hurlers faced off against Mountmellick Community School in the North Leinster Final today. There was great support at the LOETB Laois Centre of Excellence in Portlaoise, cheering the boys on throughout. It was a tightly contested match, with the sides level at half-time. The second half saw Mountmellick just edge ahead to claim the win. Fair play to MCS on their performance today.
Hard luck to our lads, who we are extremely proud of for reaching this stage of the competition. They are a very promising young team and we look forward to seeing what they will achieve in the years ahead. A huge thank you also to Mr Madden and Mr Heffernan for all their hard work and dedication with the team throughout the year.
