Our BLAST Artist in Residence, Tina, also collaborated with our TY students during her time with us. The students were fascinated to learn more about Tina’s work and were especially inspired watching her incredible macro photography in action.
As part of their workshop, students explored nature through macro photography, capturing intricate details often missed by the naked eye. They then took their work a step further by projecting their images onto faces, experimenting with light, shadow, and colour. This process allowed them to transform their original photographs into entirely new pieces of art. As you can see, the results were truly impressive! Thanks so much to Ms Harkin for organising our BLAST Artist in Residence and to Tina for her time and enthusiasm!
