A Big Bonjour!

We’re delighted to welcome our visiting French students and teachers as part of our ongoing cultural exchange with our partner school in Vichy, France. The students have arrived in Clonaslee and will be staying with local families— un grand merci to everyone involved!

This unique experience is a fantastic opportunity for both our visitors and our own students. The French students get to immerse themselves in Irish culture, practice their English, and build lasting friendships. At the same time, our students gain first-hand insights into French language and culture, improve their communication skills, and develop a deeper appreciation for global perspectives.

Cultural exchanges like this help foster mutual understanding, broaden horizons, and build lifelong connections—creating confident, open-minded young people ready for a global world.

During their stay, the visiting students will take part in a range of activities, including Sports Day, a ceramics workshop, and a trip to Maynooth University. We’re excited for the experiences and friendships this exchange will bring!
