Meet our new Cairde!

We’d like to introduce our incoming Cairde students for the 2026/2027 academic year. These students were successful applicants to our Cairde programme following an application and interview process.

Cairde is the Irish word for friends, and these students will play a huge role in mentoring and guiding our incoming first years. They will welcome students on their first day and act as a point of contact throughout the year, organising fun activities and helping them navigate all things Clonaslee College.

Our Cairde programme has gone from strength to strength since it was first introduced, and we are delighted that our incoming first years will have the support of this wonderful group as they transition into life in secondary school.
