The Leinster Schools Golf Qualifying Competitions will take place in September. The competitions are in locations across Leinster with the closest to Clonaslee being Kilcock Golf Club (girls competition) and New Forest Golf Club (boys competition) with both being played on the Monday the 28th of September. Registration for these events closes on Thursday 17th of September.
Important Information:-

Players may only compete at one venue.

Players must be a member of a golf club and hold a valid WHS Handicap Index at the close of entries. Each participant must provide their Golf Ireland membership number when registering. International players are permitted to enter but must provide a handicap certificate in advance.

All participants must have a golf genius account to register for the competition.

Students may register using their own email or a parent/guardian’s email.

Teachers can submit entries for students. However, entries must be completed on an individual player basis, multiple entries cannot be accepted.

If entries are oversubscribed at a venue, a ballot will take place based for each category based on the lowest handicap index on the date entries close.

The entry fee is €15 for the 18 Hole Competition and €10 for the 9 Hole Competition.

Entry fee includes lunch after your round of golf and will only be charged once your place has been confirmed.

Draw will be issued 7 days in advance of the competition.
18 Hole Competition Categories as follows: –

Girls’ Net Championship: Open to all female entrants who are Under-19 in the year of the Championship Final and have a Handicap Index of between 15.0 and 39.9 on the date of entry.

Girls’ Scratch Championship: Open to all female entrants who are Under-19 in the year of the Championship Final and have a Handicap Index of 14.9 or below on the date of entry.

Boys’ Net Championship: Open to all male entrants who are Under-19 in the year of the Championship Final and have a Handicap Index of between 10.0 and 19.9 on the date of entry.

Boys’ Scratch Championship: Open to all male entrants who are Under-19 in the year of the Championship Final and have a Handicap Index of 9.9 or below on the date of entry.
